Large Complex Roof with Valleys in Tacoma, Washington

Three Tree Roofing just completed this large, beautiful roofing project in Tacoma, using CertainTeed Landmark shingles in Heather Blend. This is an impressive roof! There is a lot going on with the roof. In the top-down view, you can see all the valleys. Valleys are such an important part of a house. All the water is funneled into that area, and we have to find a way to safely get it off the roof. So as we're installing the roof, we replace the valleys with metal.

Before starting roof projects like this, ground preparation is crucial. Our roofing crew makes sure to protect the driveway, back patio, plants, shrubbery, and house siding from debris. Before removing the roof, we ensure all ground cover is in place. We have a drop zone, an area for everything to be torn off and placed. Once we can do that, we can get to work. We install a nice ridge vent system and paint all the pipes. We leave our safety anchors in place. We use the safety anchors for the initial roof installation and each time we return for annual service to maintain the roof's condition.

After the roof is completed, we return to check its condition, make sure all parts are functioning, and treat it to prevent moss and algae. We also clear debris from valleys, clean skylights, flush gutters and downspouts, and ensure the roof stays in tip-top shape. An annual service is an investment in maintaining the roof’s pristine condition and overall appeal.
