This roof had quite a bit going on, making it a dynamic and rewarding project. When we arrived on-site, our team went right to work, first removing the old roofing material, followed by all of the existing plywood decking. This step was necessary to access and upgrade the insulation and install new intake baffling, which are both critical components of an efficient and long-lasting roof system.

The only access to the insulation in this home is through the roof, as it has a vaulted ceiling and no attic space inside. We're fortunate to have certified crews who can handle this type of work. Once the plywood is removed, we installed new batt insulation. Intake baffles are essential to get the air to flow from the bottom up to the roof ridge. That's where the air is going to exhaust. We're going to keep that attic nice and cool, and we're going to keep it dry. We installed new plywood and topped it with our 60 mil PVC roof.
