We are proud to complete a stunning roofing project on Bellevue's east side. The roof features CertainTeed Landmark TL in Black Walnut, a striking color that combines deep brown and black hues with subtle hints of red, creating an overall rich reddish-brown appearance.

CertainTeed's Landmark TL is a triple laminate that adds an extra layer of fiberglass and matte asphalt granules for strong protection. This roof system provides a 50-year lifespan with a five-star warranty, covering 50 years for materials and 25 for labor. Even if we retire and move to Hawaii, you will still retain full labor coverage. It's an excellent choice. During installation, we removed the old composition roof, addressed leaks by replacing plywood, and improved upon prior issues by using a comprehensive system: ice and water shield in valleys, followed by a synthetic membrane, then metal—offering three layers of protection against leaks.

When we started this project, we removed the old composition roof. There were existing leaks, so we replaced some plywood. These leaks often occurred where the underlayment or valley metal was missing. For our roof installation, we apply ice and water shield in the valleys, then a synthetic membrane, and then metal. This gives you three layers of protection in leak-prone areas.

We also installed new solar tubes to provide dependable natural light, especially in dark hallways or kitchens. We replaced a custom skylight with one to fit the existing opening, requiring no interior work. We added new gutters with screens for reliable protection. These gutters work extremely well, are made onsite in one long continuous run, and keep excess water away from the house.
