New Composite Roof in Sammamish, Washington

We are wrapping up a project on the east side of Sammamish. We recently installed CertainTeed Landmark TL shingles in Shenandoah, an excellent blend that fits the Pacific Northwest color palette. These triple-laminate shingles include added fiberglass, tar, and granules for greater durability. They’re built for longevity, featuring a 50-year material warranty and a 25-year workmanship warranty. Even if we retire to Hawaii, the labor warranty remains in effect.

For this project, our Three Tree Roofing crew removed the old roof. Due to leaks in the old roof, we replaced sections of plywood as needed. We installed new underlayment, gutter metal, valley metal, and drip edge metal. Then, we installed shingles and added a ridge vent system. We also replaced all skylights, including a custom skylight, thanks to our great relationship with a local skylight manufacturer.

We had the skylight custom-made for the house and installed a new gutter system with a screen, designed to keep debris out and direct water to the downspouts, to protect the home. The customer invested in a maintenance package, so a certified Three Tree roofer will inspect the roof yearly between November and February, when we typically see the most debris. During these visits, the roofer will inspect, clean the roof, skylights, and gutters, and remove debris from the valleys to keep the roof’s in tip top shape.
