Three Tree Roofing, a commercial roofing specialist, completed this roofing project at Puget Sound Elementary, part of the Impact Public Schools system. The project involved ensuring compliance with various class ratings for tear resistance, wind, and fire. We custom-built a taper system, incorporating rolls and ripples on the roof to facilitate water diversion to drains, preventing ponding water on the flat roof.
The project also included the installation of custom-fabricated metal roof coping made from heavy gauge steel. This coping was custom-bent to fit this specific roof, ensuring a perfect installation that meets the manufacturer's specifications. The roofing system has an impressive 20-year material and labor warranty, offering substantial protection. Notably, the warranty is transferable to future owners in the case of commercial buildings, although not applicable to this public school building.

All right. Three Tree Roofing is at Puget Sound Elementary, which is part of the impact school system. It's an excellent roofing project. I'm glad we got to be a part of it. It's always fun working in schools. The school has specific requirements, meeting different class ratings for tear resistance, wind, and fire. So, a commercial roofer specializing in that type of work must know the components needed on the roof.
So, this was a neat project. We installed a taper system and added some rolls and ripples on the roof, which will help divert water to the drains. When we install the coping metal, we always use an excellent heavy gauge steel coping metal and a custom vent for this roof. That way, it fits perfectly, and everything meets the manufacturer's specifications.
Upon completion, the roof comes with a 20-year material and labor warranty. That's an excellent warranty with great protection. The warranty is transferable to future owners in the case of commercial buildings, although not applicable to this public school building. Still, if they sell another commercial building, it would transfer to the next buyer.
