Amazing Metal Roof Installation with Solar in Redmond, Washington

This beautiful home has a turret. How cool is that? We installed the Nu-Ray NRM-1000 in Matte Black, an architectural metal roofing system from Nu-Ray Metal Products and are excited to have this project completed. It turned out awesome. The panels chosen for this installation are customized to the house. Each panel, cut to fit the house, ensures a clean roof installation. You can see the bumped-up pencil ridges in the panel. It breaks up the roof design and gives it some definition. NRM-1000 metal roof panels feature a snap-lock concealed fastener panel for architectural, commercial, and industrial roof applications, allowing for thermal movement as panels expand and contract with temperature changes. We also added new 6 K style gutters and downspouts. 6K is a bigger gutter and downspout and works well with metal roofing. When water is pouring down the roof, it shoots off the roof like it's going down a slide, so we want to use a bigger gutter system to help funnel the water to the downspouts and control the water.

Three Tree Roofing works with various solar installers; however, this homeowner chose their solar installer. After we completed the metal roof, the solar installer added the solar panels. We worked with the installer to coordinate our schedule and to ensure we were all on the same page. The clips for the solar racking pinch onto the pencil ribs without nails, preventing poking holes into the metal to install the racking system. It is pretty cool.
