Synthetic Shake Shingle Church and School Roof in Seattle, Washington

We completed an amazing project with this church in Seattle. Three Tree Roofing installed DaVinci Roofscapes Synthetic Select Cedar Shake roofing, offering a unique, eco-friendly alternative to standard roofing materials. The shake roof has a 10-inch exposure in the Aged Cedar color pattern, creating a classic cedar roof look.

Usually, when we install new cedar-shake roofs—real wood—we like them better a few years later, when they have that aged Pacific Northwest look we're hoping for. With a DaVinci Roofscapes Select shake, we get that aged Pacific Northwest look right away, and it stays that way—excellent material. DaVinci synthetic shake shingles are highly durable and resistant to impact, cracking, curling, fire, insects, and fungal or algae growth. DaVinci shakes don't fade—the color you select today is the color you will have decades from now.

Projects like this require some very special crews. We have dedicated crews here at Three Tree for specialized projects like this. This is a church with lots of people in and out and an entire basement of preschoolers. There's no access. We can't just wheel into a driveway as we can at somebody's house and have a container there, all our material there, a porta potty, a place to do lunch, and a place to play horseshoes. There's nothing here. We have to dial it in and make sure everybody is safe.

Our crews ensure the grounds are protected, safe, and clean, with dedicated drop zones. They communicate with the preschool and let them know when we're working so we can work around the kids' schedule. Most roofing companies don't have that. They have roofing crews that are working on residential houses. Then they try to put them on a project like this, and it doesn't go well. So we have crews dedicated to these types of projects that require a different mindset.

Three Tree Roofing is part of the DaVinci Masterpiece program, so this roof comes with an extended warranty that DaVinci will honor and help cover our labor warranty. DaVinci stands behind its products and supports customers. If the roofer retires, DaVinci steps in and handles the warranties. We like them a lot. Whether you're building a new home or replacing an existing shake roof, DaVinci offers synthetic shakes with varied textures, natural color shifts, and shading found in real, hand-split cedar.

When you choose a roof from Three Tree Roofing, you can select our maintenance package. This option includes an inspection and cleaning of your roof, as well as cleaning your skylights if you have them. We will also remove all debris and clean out the gutters. After our inspection, you will receive a checklist outlining the work performed. Alternatively, you can schedule a meeting with our certified roofer to discuss the inspection before your scheduled maintenance. He will let you know if any adjustments, repairs, or cleaning are needed. This roof comes with a 50-year material warranty and a 20-year labor warranty, so you're in good hands with Three Tree Roofing.

Exceptional product quality, skilled installation, and strong warranty coverage testify to Three Tree Roofing's commitment to excellence in roofing solutions.
