Two Neighbors, Both New Composite Roofs in SeaTac, Washington

We're near our Three Tree Roofing office, heading out of SeaTac. We have a twofer on Angle Lake. We roofed one house, and the neighbor liked it so much that she said, “Hey, would you do my roof too?” So we did. Both roofs are CertainTeed Northgate asphalt shingles with ClimateFlex® rubber technology, in two different colors: Max Def Espresso and Max Def Granite Gray. Espresso brings a rich, deep brown warmth, while Granite Gray gives the home a cool, modern look. Together, they create a striking side-by-side contrast, giving each home its own curb appeal.

These two projects are similar. We tore off the old roofs and replaced a few pieces of plywood on each. We laid down the underlayments and all the perimeter edge metals. The Granite Gray roof had a busy design with multiple dormers and skylights, which we replaced, plus a glass-enclosed sunroom below that demanded extra care and precision. On the Max Def Espresso roof, we installed a special flashing system for the open breezeway. We added new gutters to complete the projects and help control roof water runoff. In the end, both homes looked fantastic and are better protected.

Both roofing projects come with the CertainTeed 5-Star Warranty. Materials are covered for 50 years, labor for 30 years, and both warranties are fully transferable and backed by CertainTeed. Three Tree Roofing is a CertainTeed Certified Installer. This certification ensures that every CertainTeed roof we install comes with the CertainTeed Warranty, offering industry-leading protection for your investment. Your roof remains fully protected even if we retire and move to Hawaii. CertainTeed stands behind its materials and will handle any warranty repairs, giving you long-term peace of mind. This comprehensive warranty package is also transferable to the next homeowner, adding significant resale value to the property.

What We Love About Roofing in SeaTac

SeaTac Roofers share their knowledge about fun roofing projects and roofing in SeaTac, Washington.

This home had the busier roof of the two, with multiple dormers and skylights we replaced during the install, plus a glass-enclosed sunroom below that required extra care and precision. CertainTeed's Northgate Integrity Roof System® in Max Def Granite Gray, a cool, medium gray color, has a sleek, modern look.

Next door, the neighbor chose CertainTeed Northgate in Max Def Espresso, a rich, deep brown that adds warmth and a classic look. The roof wraps around a central courtyard, and its open breezeway required special flashing to keep water out where the roof meets the open structure.

As a Certified CertainTeed Roof Installer, Three Tree Roofing is proud to have the opportunity to offer the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System. With a 100+ year legacy of trusted performance, CertainTeed offers over 300 Roofing options backed by manufacturing excellence and quality materials.
